AVENOR!
Above: Pastor Asare (in blue shirt) witnessing
For the past several weeks the C.M.M. Outreach Team has been visiting Avenor, a suburb of Accra noted as a hangout for drug users.
Bros. Willie and Asare have a burden on their hearts for the lost but especially for the drug addicts in Avenor. Since they began visiting the area earlier this year, many of the addicts have accepted salvation through Jesus Christ. In their last visit one lady, a drug dealer, also accepted Jesus as Lord & Savior!
In sharing the Gospel, Willie and Asare have discovered that many of the people are surprised to learn that someone really cares about them. Most feel that society, and even God, has abandoned them because of their sinful lifestyles. But the Gospel of Jesus Christ offers unconditional love, which is difficult for some people to understand.

A GREAT TESTIMONY!
We recently received a phone call from Boachie (the CMM director in Ghana) to give a great testimony. It concerned a married couple who visited with Boachie about 4 months ago. At that time the couple said they had been trying to have a family for 7 years and even after many prayers, the wife remained barren.
They were at a loss as to what to do and con-fessed to Boachie that they were, indeed, under a curse.
At that point Boachie shared the truth of the Gospel to them, especially Galatians 3:13 which states, "Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, 'Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree').
As he shared this with them he said they both began to tremble. This was an indication that the Holy Spirit was revealing the truth to them. They were beginning to realize they were not under a curse because Jesus redeemed them from ALL curses 2000 years ago when He hung on the cross.
On July 4, 2007 the couple returned to the CMM office to let Boachie know that the wife was now 3 months pregnant!! Glory!!
Why was she not able to have a family before this? Simply because the devil had convinced both of them they were under a curse. They believed it and so it became a curse.
But the devil is a liar!
And the Word of God set them free!
John 8:36 says, "Therefore if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed."

We proudly support Israel through:
HAVE YOU EVER ASKED THE QUESTION:
Have you ever gone through "dry times" in your walk with the Lord?
Maybe you're going through one now.
Does it seem God is so distant there are times you have questioned your own salvation?
Have the cares of the world pressed in on your life so hard that you have considered giving up?
Don't be discouraged.
It happens to most Christians, but there's a way out of that situation & it's as simple as:
1- 2- 3
A hinderance in your relationship with God could be a result of sin. So examine your life. If you have anything against another person it must be confessed to God. Then you must forgive that person of their actions, words or any hurt they may have caused you. But more important than forgiving is forgetting. Once you have confessed your sin to God, put it all in the past because that's where it belongs. Once you have confessed the sin, God chooses to forget it.
Read what the Bible says in Ephesians 4:31-32 (from the New Living Translation) "Get rid of all bitterness, rage, anger, harsh words, and slander, as well as all types of evil behavior. Instead, be kind to each other, tender-hearted, forgiving one another, just as God through Christ has forgiven you."
And in Hebrews 12:15, "Look after each other so that none of you fails to receive the grace of God. Watch out that no poisonous root of bitterness grows up to trouble you, corrupting many."
Bitterness usually comes from unforgiveness of another person. Bitterness is like a poisonous root that grows into unforgiveness, resentment; anger; retaliation; hatred; violence and if not dealt with, can even grow into committing murder.
Bitterness also causes stress which affects the body, breaking down the immune system and opening the body to sickness & disease.
So get rid of bitterness by confessing it to the Lord.
Begin to practice these 3 steps as often as possible and let the Lord shoulder your burdens for you.
Soon you will no longer ask, "Where is God?" but instead, "Where was I in those times I thought He had left me?"
