THE CONFERENCE AT MONOME
December 19-25, 2011
Glory!!!!!!!!!!!
As already informed you the conference at Monome is over. It started from Monday, 19th of December 2011 and ended on the 25th of December 2011. It was the gathering of the three branches in and around Monome and that of the mother church in Accra. It was well attended by the members of the church. Pastors Harrison, Asare, Dora and I were in attendance.
The place is an idol worship area, full of idol worshippers. The theme of the conference was, “Come out of them.” There were two ministrations a day; morning from 9.00am to 12.00 noon and evening from 6.00pm to 9.00pm. I had the opportunity to minister twice, on Thursday evening and Friday morning.
I thank God for the flow of the Holy Spirit for touching the people to receive the revelation of the word of God. I taught on how man sinned in Adam in the garden of Eden and lost the Holy Spirit till the fullness of time when he was and is restored to those who are in Christ. I ex-plained how the inherited man in Adam (sinful nature) lives in the same body (flesh) with the new nature in Christ (born again creation/creature) and that both are depending on the soul to manifest themselves through the flesh or body. I again explained to them that the devil’s tools or stronghold in our lives are our bodies that are not yielded as sacrifice to God and our minds that are not renewed. And that the enemy is beaten when once mind is renewed by the word of God with sacrificed body.
I encouraged them how to live by the new image that is connected to God by his Spirit against the old sinful nature. Thus, living not by what goes on around us but what the word of God says by the power of the Holy Spirit. I used the mirror to explain to them how it is used to see and polish the outer man and that the mirror to the inner man is the Bible. I hereby taught them how to live as a child of God by looking, hearing, feeling etc around you; poverty, lack, sickness, impossibilities, etc., but not live by it but live by what the Bible (mirror of the inner man) says, by the help of the Holy Spirit.
We really had a very good time with the Lord.
They had an all night service on Saturday to round off the program and Christ walk around all the surrounding villages.
